What is
Domiciliary Care?

With domiciliary care, you or your loved one can continue to stay in the place you feel most comfortable at – home. You may be starting to find it difficult to complete different areas of your routine and want some support whilst staying in familiar surroundings.

Regular home visits from fully trained care workers, from 30 minutes through to several hours a day, can be arranged to help you with a wide range of everyday tasks, including:

  • Personal and continence care
  • Managing medication
  • Helping to mobilise in and around the home
  • Household tasks and meal preparation
  • Clinical care, including catheter and stoma management and PEG feeding

Supported Living

Our supported living services offer flexible care and assistance packages based on individual need and capabilities, from a few hours a week to full time, 24/7 support. For those living in rented accommodation or in their own homes, supported living solutions can help build an effective pathway to more independent living.

The support plan enables service users to identify strengths and abilities they wish to develop, alongside goals they want to achieve. We then provide service users with valuable information about their rights and responsibilities, as well as the choices available to them in other areas. And we do this in a way that is accessible, in the language and terminology they understand.

Respite Care

Respite care is a temporary arrangement that is offered by trained carers for numerous care types, including assisted living, residential care, types of dementia care and nursing care. It is ideal for when the regular caregiver needs a break, or you need support on a short-term basis. If you’re looking for support that is built around your lifestyle and routines, we can find a care worker or personal assistant that suits you.

Support for
young people

We support young people, from the age of 16 years and over, to live safely and comfortably in the home they know and love. We also offer accommodation including emergency placements for both long-and short-term stays.

At Riverside Care Solutions, we believe in the next generation and the importance of a strong structure in every season of life. We believe that all young adults deserve the opportunity to achieve their full potential as long as they are safe, healthy, happy and have the skills they need to learn, work, engage in community life and influence the decisions that affect them.

We work in conjunction with training and education providers as well as therapeutic intervention professionals to complement our services. We work with local organisations who offer apprenticeship opportunities for our young people and refugee services for our Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children. We have a versatile staff team, within which discrimination in any form is not tolerated. Our staff are well trained and experienced to ensure our young people will have the best support and guidance to achieve their outcomes and move towards independence.

We reaffirm the commitment we all share to ensure that young adults develop the confidence, resilience and the skills to grow into productive beings. We provide a stable environment for them to live and enable them to be independent.
